I am a huge fan of prints that are matted. Not only are they functional in that if you do choose to frame it, it is a way for the image to not be right up against the glass, but
the mat isolates your image giving it room to breathe.

THE SIZE.
This is a 12″x 16″ mat that holds an 8″ x 12″ matte finish print. It’s a nice size if you are new to having matted prints in your home as it still makes a statement, but it’s not too large at the same time.
THE LONGEVITY.
You know how photos can turn yellow over time? Because the board and print are archival, you don’t have to worry about this which may not seem like a big deal, but future viewers of this image will thank you.
