About ME
WHERE AM I BASED?
I’m based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, Ireland and serve the surrounding areas as well as across Ireland.
I also do make my way to Michigan & New Mexico every so often.
WHAT IS MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
I don’t pose or give any prompts to my families but rather photograph and film them just as they are; reacting, engaging, living just as they normally would in their life. You can read more about it here.
WHY CHOOSE ME?
While I don’t guide you on where to place your hand, or what angle to tilt your head during the session, I will guide you every step of the way, making sure you feel fully prepared and all of your questions are answered.
I look to take photos that truly capture who you are and your experience of your world. It’s not just about getting a pretty picture, but ones that you connect to in a deep way.

About PRICING
WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR FULL PRICE GUIDE?
After you fill the form, I will send you on a link that has the full price & services and then schedule a short call to go over the information and any questions you may have!
HOW DOES PAYMENT PROCESS WORK?
I require a 20% non-refundable deposit which reserves your date, and the remainder is paid one week before the session. I also offer an option to pay in instalments if that suits you better. Just let me know and I can set that up for you.
About the SESSION in general.
WHAT ACTIVITIES SHOULD WE DO?
This really depends on your family and what you enjoy doing together. Some common ones have been baking a favourite recipe, walking a favourite trail, just hanging out in favourite spaces (backyards, living rooms).
I’m also up for documenting a special trip/activity/celebration you are doing as a family.

DOES IT HAVE TO TAKE PLACE IN THE HOUSE?
While the majority of my sessions do take place in the home as this tends to be where families are most comfortable, I am more than open to heading out and going to a favourite location that you enjoy spending time in.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes! I love animals and they are important members of the family so most definitely!
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
Whatever you feel comfortable in and enjoy wearing.
This can be especially fun for kids as their sense of style changes so quickly so it can be really interesting to capture what they are into these days.
WHAT TIME WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
When you pay the deposit, that date will be booked off for you so we can be flexible(ish) with the time. Closer to the date will solidify what works for you and your family’s schedule.
About the DAY OF.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
It’s Ireland. The chances of it raining are pretty high so if you are happy to go ahead with it, so am I (unless it’s torrential…then we may have to reschedule…)
WHAT IF SOMEONE IS SICK?
So we have a few options here. We can reschedule or we can go ahead with it. Kids are sick so often so it can actually be really nice to capture these moments showing how you care for them and capture what they find comfort in. But we can reschedule as well if you would prefer.
DO WE NEED TO PREPARE FOOD FOR YOU?
For the shorter sessions (less than 5 hours), I should be sorted as I pack some energy snacks with me. For the longer sessions, while this is by no means a requirement, I wouldn’t turn down yummy food if it’s on.
WHAT IF THE KIDS ARE MISBEHAVING?
No worries. Kids misbehave (and it can often lead to some pretty fun shots :). Remember, I’m not there to judge you/your parenting. I’m there to document what life really looks like for you and your family and the daily ebbs and flows it is filled with.
WHAT IF THERE ARE THINGS WE DON’T WANT YOU TO DOCUMENT?
I love documenting intimate moments (shower/bath time, breastfeeding, etc…), moments of tension, etc…But if there is something you really wish I didn’t photograph, do let me know and I’ll definitely respect that.
About AFTER the session.
HOW LONG BEFORE OUR FILMS/PHOTOS ARE DELIVERED?
It depends on the season but roughly 3-5 weeks for photos and 6-8 weeks for films.
HOW ARE THEY DELIVERED?
Photos are delivered via an online gallery and films through a downloadable link.
About the IMAGES.
CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP BLEMISHES?
While I do a light basic editing on the images, I do not do any photoshopping on my images that affect how people or objects look.
WILL THE PHOTOS BE COLOUR OR BLACK AND WHITE?
You will get a mix as some photos call for black and white while others work better in colour.
CAN YOU SEND ME THE RAW IMAGES SO I CAN EDIT THEM MYSELF?
I do not deliver raw images as I find how I edit them as an extension of my creative voice. If my toning/colouring isn’t what you are looking for, it might be best to find a photographer who speaks to your creative vision more.
WILL THESE IMAGES/FILMS BE SHARED ONLINE?
I would love to share the images and the moments that we captured, but if you would prefer I didn’t, I completely respect that. Just let me know and we can adjust the contract.
About the PRODUCTS & DIGITALS
HOW DO WE ORDER THE DIGITALS & PRODUCTS?
When your images are ready, I’ll send you a link to an online gallery where you can view them and decide which ones are your favourite and order from the shop there.
I’D LOVE TO HAVE DIFFERENT SIZES OF THE PRODUCTS YOU OFFER, IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Hopefully but it depends on the product. If you would like a custom size of an album, frame or a matted print, let me know and see what I can do.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
I have spent a lot of time researching suppliers, getting samples and test prints done to find products that I am proud to offer my families. Check them out here.
About ODDS & INS
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes. I have public liability and personal indemnity insurance. (Note, if you decide to work with another photographer, make sure they have this!).
WHY WOULD I DO A LONG SESSION?
Longer sessions give more time for everyone to relax which can lead to some pretty special moments.
ARE THERE ANY PERKS FOR REFERRING CLIENTS?
Yup. You and the family you refer will receive a discount. Make sure they drop your name when they book their session and we can chat more about it.
DO YOU INTERNATIONAL FAMILIES VISITING IRELAND?
